Our group is an interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary research team, reuniting specialists from different fields, interested in the development of projects and programs on the theme of transdisciplinarity in the research of brain’s structure and functioning. In the last years, the group has published many articles, chapter books and initiated research projects, along with the participation at different national and international scientific manifestations and conferences.

Gabriel CRUMPEI, graduated from the Faculty of General Medicine, “Gr. T. Popa” University, Iaşi (1980-1986) and the Faculty of Theology, “Al. I. Cuza” University. He specialized in Psychiatry and obtained his PhD in Psychology in 2003. He is Director of the Center of Psychiatry, Psychotherapy and Counseling and he coordinates the interdisciplinary research group in neurosciences. He was also an External Professor at the Psychology Department at “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University in Iaşi. His major interests are focused in psychology, psychiatry, theology, physics and philosophy. He is author and coauthor in several ISI papers, chapter books, a book and gave many communications at national and international scientific manifestations.

Alina Cristiana GAVRILUŢ, Lecturer within Mathematics Department at Al.I. Cuza University from Iaşi, Romania, graduate BA in Mathematics at the Faculty of Mathematics, Al.I. Cuza University from Iaşi, Romania, specialization Mathematics (1993-1997), PhD in Mathematics (2000-2006) with PhD thesis „Properties of regularity of set multifunctions”. She is Editor and member of Editorial Board in several international mathematical journals. Her interests are in theoretical and applied Mathematical Analysis, focused on classical and non-additive (set-valued) measure theory, general topology and hypertopologies, non-linear dynamics. She published over 50 articles in ISI journals, 20 ISI proceedings, 50 BDI papers, 10 books, 10 chapter books and gave many communications at national and international scientific manifestations.

Maricel AGOP, Professor PhD within Physics Department at Gh. Asachi Technical University of Iaşi, graduated from the Faculty of Physics, Al. I. Cuza University from Iaşi. The main area of interest is the use of nonlinear dynamics in the study of different physical systems (plasma, nanostructures, composite). In the last years, he turned his attention towards biological systems, especially those connected to medicine (solid tumours, cancer cells) and pharmaceutical fields (nano-structured drug delivery systems). He has published over 150 articles in ISI journals, 30 articles in BDI journals, 40 books at Romanian publishers and 25 books at international publishers.

Irina CRUMPEI TANASĂ, Assistant Professor at the Psychology Department at Al. I. Cuza University from Iaşi, graduated from the Faculty of Psychology in Iaşi (2003-2007), MA in Clinical Psychology of cognitive-behavioral interventions at “Charles de Gaulle” University in Lille, France (2007-2008) and PhD in Clinical Psychology (2008-2011). She is also a Psychotherapist trained in Ericksonian psychotherapy (2008-2012). She published 5 ISI proceedings articles, 3 BDI articles, 2 book chapters, one book and 13 communications at national and international scientific events. She is part of the Editorial board for one BDI Journal.
