Sub semnul paradoxului. Aspecte ale reprezentării sociale a puterii în context românesc

Rezumat: Cercetarea noastră a urmărit un plan dublu: caracteristicile contextului istoric românesc şi posibila lor reflectare în reprezentarea socială a puterii. 287 de subiecţi au fost investigaţi plurimetodologic: prin tehnica asocierii induse, cea a interviului semistructurat şi a diferenţiatorului semantic. Nucleul central al puterii s‑a dovedit a fi format din triada bani‑autoritate‑monopol.
Complementaritatea metodologică s‑a dovedit de bun augur. Prelucrarea specifică a datelor a scos la iveală cel puţin un paradox, pentru fiecare instrument de cercetare în parte. Lucrarea de faţă analizează ilustrativ cinci dintre acestea: al valenţelor, al expectanţelor, cel comportamental, cel cromatic şi cel al genului atribuit puterii în reprezentarea sa socială. Concluzia care s‑a impus în urma analizei este reflectată de chiar titlul lucrării noastre.

Paradoxical aspects of the social representation of power in the Romanian context

Abstract: The purpose of this research was two‑fold: to trace the characteristics of the Romanian historical context and to see the way in which these characteristics are possibly mirrored in the social representation of power. 287 subjects were multi‑methodologically investigated: through the method of psychologically induced association, that of semi‑structured interview, and the semantic differential measurement technique. It was proven that the money‑authority‑monopoly triad formed
the central nucleus of power. The methodological complementarity proved to be efficient. The specific data processing revealed at least one paradox for each research instrument used. This paper illustratively analyzes five of these paradoxes: of valency, of expectancy, the behavioral one, the chromatic one and even of the gender attributed to power in its social representation. The conclusion that resulted from this analysis is reflected by the title of the paper itself.

Sous le signe du paradoxe: des aspects de la représentation sociale du pouvoir dans le contexte roumain

Résumé: Notre recherche a suivi un double objectif: observer les caractéristiques du contexte historique roumain et en même temps leur possible reflet dans la représentation sociale du pouvoir. 287 sujets ont fait l’objet d’une investigation multi‑méthodologique, par la technique de l’association induite, par des interviews semi‑structurés, ainsi que par le différenciateur sémantique. Le noyau
central du pouvoir est composé par la triade argent‑autorité‑monopole. La complémentarité méthodologique a porté ses fruits. Le traitement spécifique des données a fait apparaître au moins un paradoxe pour chacun des instruments de la recherche. Dans notre étude, nous en présentons cinq: les valences, les attentes, le comportement, la chromatique, ainsi que le genre conféré au pouvoir
dans la représentation sociale. La conclusion qui s’impose suite à notre analyse est formulée dans le titre de cette étude: «Sous le signe du paradoxe. Aspects du pouvoir dans le contexte roumain».
