Museum Pedagogy – Status, Objectives, Practical Features
The purpose of our present paper is to create an inventory of the specific characteristics and virtues of museum pedagogy, by underlining the status of this topic in the context of educational sciences, by insisting on the importance of the objectives of the mentioned discipline, on the main topics which raise questions and also on its contribution concerning the maximization of the educational dimension. A museum should be understood not only as a formative environment – in itself or in connection to school – but also as a way of didactic cognition and reinterpretation of reality.
